Audrey Bloom once again finds herself in the midst of a murder. She’s been hired to design bouquets for a bell crazy bride on wedding reality tv show (try saying that three times fast). It ought to be a great opportunity for the store but the hosts are nowhere near as nice as they appear on camera. Audrey isn’t exactly surprised when the most obnoxious one is murdered but decides to intervene when her ex, Brad, becomes a suspect.

Audrey is just as delightful this time around as she was in the last book and is even a little more organised as she has had one investigation under her belt. I really enjoyed the little snippets about the hidden meanings of flowers that were sprinkled throughout the book by Audrey, especially as they were interwoven neatly rather than info-dumped.

My only criticism would have to be that there were so many characters that it got a little confusing, especially when you have new townsfolk to get to know along with the cast and crew. A list of who was who at the start would have made things easier for me, especially since so many of them had either motive or opportunity. The tv cast and crew weren’t particularly nice people so I was surprised that we had an epilogue that made me view a couple in a different light.

This was a really engaging cozy that was perfect for a lazy summer’s afternoon.
