Top Ten Tuesday: Sequels I Need Now

Top Ten Tuesday is an original meme created by The Broke and the Bookish for list addicts. This week’s list is…

Top ten sequels I can’t wait to get my hands on

Eleven is the new ten…totally. I’ve deliberately not included ones that I have talked about before e.g. Up From the Grave by Jeaniene Frost and The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness. Oops. I’ve divided them up into those coming this year and those coming next year but they are in no particular order within those categories.

Just click on the covers if you want to add to Goodreads.

Coming This Year

Shadowdance1. Shadowdance by Kristen Callihan (17 Dec 2013)
I’ve been hanging out for Mary and Jack’s story for months now. I need my Gothic paranormal romance hit.

Alien Research

2. Alien Research by Gini Koch (3 Dec 2013)
I always love reading about whatever drama Kitty has managed to get herself involved in so Koch’s books are a must buy.

Coming Next Year

The Clockwork Wolf

3. Clockwork Wolf by Lynn Viehl (25 Feb 2014)
Viehl has created a really detailed steampunk world that I had the pleasure of immersing myself in with the two halves of her first book.

Silver Mirrors

4. Silver Mirrors by A.A. Aguirre (29 Apr 2014)
Another steampunk paranormal mystery to devour. Mikani & Ritsuko compliment each other nicely.

Half-Off Ragnarok

5. Half-Off Ragnarok by Seanan McGuire (4 Mar 2014)
Despite my best intentions, I couldn’t really get into McGuire’s October Daye series. This series however is pure fun.

Werewolf in Las Vagas

6. Werewolf in Las Vegas by Vicki Lewis Thompson (4 Mar 2014)
Werewolves and casinos should be interesting

Fury of the Demon

7. Fury of the Demon by Diana Rowland (7 Jan 2014)
This is hands down one of my favourite urban fantasy series and the darker it gets, the more I love it.

Cursed by Destiny

8. Cursed by Destiny by Cecy Robson (7 Jan 2014)
Celia’s life gets just a little more complicated…again.

Banishing the Dark

9. Banishing the Dark by Jenn Bennett (27 May 2014)
Arcadia’s off on a road trip to find out the source of her Moonchild powers.

The Goodbye Witch

10. The Goodbye Witch by Heather Blake (May 2014)
I’ve really enjoyed Darcy’s adventures in the first three so I’m hoping this one will continue the trend.

The Ghost Train to New Orleans

11. The Ghost Train to New Orleans by Mur Lafferty (4 Mar 2014)
Zoe writes travel guides for supernatural folk. This time though she is out of her element in New Orleans.

    • I found the title for Rowlands’ new Zombie novel really funny but there was no cover so I didn’t list it. It’s called How the White Trash Zombie Got Her Groove Back.

    • There is definitely something about Verity Price that draws you in. I think it is the ballroom dancing crossed with the supernatural.

  1. Ooh, I’ve always wanted to read Gini Koch’s books. And gah! I didn’t know the next book in Diana Rowland’s Kara Gillian’s series was coming out! I LOVE Kara! In fact, Mark of the Demon was the first book I ever downloaded onto my nook…a looonng time ago! LOL Great picks, Vilia!

  2. I haven’t read any of these series, but I really enjoy Diana Rowlands’ White Trash Zombie books. I think they’re hilarious! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my post.
