The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
All sorts of bits and bobs happening this week. Ashley of CreativeWhim has released a Reading Challenge add-on for her Ultimate Book Blogger Plugin which I got yesterday. It allows you to tag the books you read for challenges and track your progress. Simple but effective. She also added a free book report plugin which isn’t really my thing because I only give one rating but for people who like to break up their reviews into different sections e.g. setting, plot, characterisation, style and themes, it should be really useful.
I got back into reading yesterday. My mother generously bought me a gift voucher at my favourite indie bookstore presumably because I’m awesome ;). I was going to eke it out over a couple of visits but I ended up blowing all but $8 on five books. I obviously have poor impulse control when it comes to books. I’ve read three which you can see below and I just have the latest Shamini Flint and a Joanne Fluke serial killer novel to go. This time our sweaty Sikh Inspector Singh is in China. I’m hoping Flint keeps the series going long enough to cross off most of Asia.
