Sunday Post #4

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

This has been another roller-coaster week for me. My mother returned from Europe and I bought an Aura HD (my last significant purchase for some time) which is awesome btw.  I caught a nasty virus on Monday and spent over 12 hours throwing up (not pleasant). I’ve spent most of the week in bed because I was still incredibly weak, getting up now and then to try to finish my assignment for uni so I could submit it on Friday. Functional grammar – we’re not compatible so please go somewhere far, far away from me and never darken my door again.

Just when I was feeling really sorry for myself, I got news that put it all into perspective – a woman I had the immense privilege of working for a few years ago had been in a freak car accident. Both she and her husband were seriously injured. My issues are so insignificant in comparison.

None! Zip! Nada!  I’ve got my act together for next week and the next but I’m writing this one off.

Jeez you’ve had a pretty bad week all in all. I hope the rest of the year is much better for you. Fingers crossed for better news about your friend and her husband. *hugs*

I’ve got Edwin Drood in my list too! Are you liking it? I haven’t started (bad blogger) but hopefully this week!

    Happy Reading

I’ve only just started it. Simon (the protagonist) has just been talking about serious relationship stuff with his partner Zach. I’m hoping to finish it this week too.

Oh, the Naked Werewolf books are so much fun!

I’m sorry you’ve been so sick and I;m sorry to hear about your former co-worker. I hope she and her husband will be okay.

Finger’s crossed. I’ve got Monday off due to Labour Day (thank you government peeps) and then it’s back to work.

I didn’t really like the first one (erotic tai-chi was a little too bizarro for me) but I enjoyed the rest.
