The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
So what’s new in my world…well I’m officially on holiday for the next two weeks. I was pretty silly though and signed up for a one week casual job which pays well but is pretty tiring. It is only a 10 hour shift but travel time and other commitments add up – yesterday was 14 hours and today was 17 hours. Bleh! Today when I looked down, I noticed that my ankles were missing. Two days of wearing sensible lace-up shoes with proper support for my feet and I have developed cankles. I must confess that I never realised how much I adored my rather shapely ankles until they disappeared. Two days down and five more to go. Please excuse me if I take a little while to respond as I have just been getting home and crashing.

I decided to re-read an old favourite, Remedy for Treason, so I could get my nun as none of the new options I found really grabbed me. She isn’t actually a nun but rather pretending to be one when she gets murdered. Thankfully she is wearing her ‘uniform’ so I can cross it off my list. I picked up a baseball player in Double Play. I’m nearly finished Joelle Charbonneau’s Skating Around the Law which will get me a fast-food worker.
I’m now on the hunt for a cheerleader and a horse jockey. If you know of one appearing in a romance, urban fantasy, steampunk or mystery adult novel wearing his or her uniform, please let me know.
