Review: Cinderella Six Feet Under by Maia Chance

  Prue’s plan to catch up with her mother Henrietta hits a hitch when she and Ophelia arrive in Paris. In a short space of time they discover that her mother has gone missing and her half-sister has been murdered in the pumpkin patch. Prue’s step-sisters (who are descended from Cinderella’s step-sisters) are fairly nasty and there are rats running around the gloomy mansion. Ick!

Review: Snow White Red-Handed by Maia Chance

  Most well-bred 19th century ladies would have an attack of vapours if their financial prospects suddenly turned bad but Ophelia Flax and Prue Bright are American actresses rather than ladies and are made of sterner stuff. Ophelia wheedles jobs as maids for them in a fantastical Black Forest castle complete with Snow White’s cottage. Things take a turn for the worst when their employer’s husband is poisoned and Prue becomes the main suspect.
